Ranger von Roe is a beautiful 8-10 month old German Shepherd. With his cute face and big smile, how can you resist taking him home? Ranger is very puppy-like in his mannerisms and is definitely on the high-energy side. He exits his kennel exuberantly, sometimes forgetting that you are holding his leash, and needs to be reminded of his manners. He listens well to corrections and calms down almost immediately. Ranger is very eager to explore the neighborhood and might react to some dogs on leash. He meets others in a pushy manner but, again, listens to corrections from his handler. Ranger is outgoing and gregarious, the kind of dog that you will be proud to walk next to. Our cuddlebug extraordinaire also gives out some of the best bear hugs we have ever received, and makes us wish we could lie next to him at the park all day. Ranger meets dogs better off-leash in his playgroup and tries to establish himself as the alpha. He might test the other males in the group and definitely works his charms on the females. Ranger would be better matched with a submissive female dog. With some puppy training, Ranger will blossom into the perfect gentleman he really hopes to be.
